Aerofoam® is a brand of Hira Industries, a family-owned multinational organization with offices in 30 countries, 16 production units and a well-trained workforce of 1500 team members.
Aerofoam® is committed to provide high quality sustainable thermal insulation and acoustic solutions. They invest in smart technologies for high-quality cost-effective solutions with excellent performance in energy conservation that exceed client expectations while also improving living comfort. Aerofoam® thermal insulation and acoustic solutions have multiple applications that help the customers obtain more for less.
Aerofoam® NBR – A flexible closed cell elastomeric thermal insulation foam, Aerofoam® NBR is FM approved. Aerofoam® NBR products are manufactured in various sizes and foil facers which include colored glass cloth, aluminum foil for indoor and outdoor applications.
Aerofoam® XLPE – A cross-linked closed cell polyolefin thermal insulation foam for HVAC applications, Aerofoam® XLPE is manufactured in different sizes and foil facers for indoor and outdoor applications.
AeroSound Acoustic Solutions – The best solutions for your acoustic comfort in civil and industrial construction.
Aerofoam® thermal insulation products have been used in various projects across several geographic locations and comply with the most important standards required by the insulation industry
Aerofoam® NBR Rolls & Sheets complies to its ongoing improvement of quality, technological integrity, and outstanding performance in demanding settings with the FM approval and satisfies the most stringent safety and fire-resistance standards. FM approval for Aerofoam® Elastomeric Insulation used on the exterior of non-combustible pipes or ducts increases our clients’ faith in Aerofoam further.
The thermal insulation rolls & sheets present no hazard to the human health since no CFC or HCFC is used om their production and has a very low VOC level. They are considered environmentally friendly products (with low Ozone Depletion Potential – ODP – and Global Warming Potential – GWP) and comply with the LEED requirements, helping buildings to get more LEED points.
Aerofoam® Flexible Elastomeric Foam is made from closed cell elastomeric foam, which has a micro-cell, non-porous structure and closed cell content bigger than 90%. They cover a wide range of diameters and thicknesses, matching with most used pipe sizes. The Aerofoam® Flexible Elastomeric Foam has a very good dimensional stability and offers an excellent protection against condensation, thermal loss and sound transfer. The flexibility of the tubes and the powder applied inside them, allows a low friction movement and improves the installation time significantly.
The polyolefin rolls & sheets present no hazard to the human health since no CFC or HCFC in their production and having a very low VOC level. Aerofoam® Polyolefin Thermal Insulation Rolls & Sheets are made from closed cell cross linked polyolefin foam with excellent properties in terms of condensation control, long term thermal block and sound absorption. They come as a standard complete product composed of foam, Alupet foil and self-adhesive backing. Any other combination is like: plain foam with Alupet foil or foam with self-adhesive backing.
The Aerofoam® Polyolefin Thermal Insulation Tubes have very good dimensional stability.
Aerofoam® Polyolefin Tubes are made from closed cell cross-linked polyolefin thermal insulation foam with excellent properties in terms of condensation control, long term thermal block and sound absorption. The polyolefin tubes have thicknesses and the diameters which match most of the usual pipe sizes and can be coated with foil or can be plain.
During the construction of a home or an office, we focus our attention to the appropriate standard of the building, air conditioning, proper ventilation, orientation towards cardinal points of the compass, sun exposure or the distance from noise sources, such as busy roads. But we often forget about the thing that is imperceptible – the acoustic comfort thermal insulation solutions. The sounds of ventilation, sanitation, equipment such as lifts and compressors, and of course the sounds generated by our neighbors or even precipitation – all this can cause noise disruption.
Providing adequate acoustic comfort insulation has a substantial impact on our well-being at home as well as efficiency and concentration at work. The most effective solution is to ensure sound isolation of each room at the stage of construction of the building and use of sound absorptive materials. However, thanks to modern technology, it is possible to increase the acoustic comfort even in projects that have already been completed.
