Niles Steel Tank Hot Water Storage Tanks are built to the highest standards in the industry and come with a 5 year limited warranty. Niles offer bare, jacketed and insulated or spray-on R-16 topcoat. Configurations include both vertical and horizontal orientations. They can be offered in Glass Lined Carbon Steel, Double Glass Lined Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel 316 or Duplex Stainless Steel. Standard tanks are rated for 125 PSI, higher pressure rating are also available.

Chilled Water Buffer Tanks

Niles Steel Tank’s Buffer Tanks are designed for use with Commercial chilled water systems and hydronic heating systems which may have insufficient water volume to maintain optimum operating temperature control. Buffer tanks are constructed under the ASME Code, Section VIII., Division I. Vertical and horizontal tank designs are available with a center baffle plate. They can be offered in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel 316 or Duplex Stainless Steel. Standard tanks are rated for 125 PSI, higher pressure rating are available. Standard Buffer tanks are 130 gallon to 1,000 gallon. Larger volumes are also available.

Hydraulic Separators

Niles Steel Tank Hydraulic Separators are designed to help reduce short cycling of a boiler system and separate building and boiler circulation. The Hydraulic Separators are designed for 125 psi. Standard sizes range from 120 gallon up to 860 actual gallons. Custom sizes, pressure rating and additional fittings are available.

Hot Water Generators

Niles Steel Tank Hot Water Generators are equipped with 2 or 4 pass, single or double wall construction, U-bend heat exchangers. It can be operated by passing either steam or hot water through the coil to heat the tank contents. Hot Water Generators come in vertical and horizontal configurations, bare, topcoated or jacketed and insulated. All tank fittings can be NPT, flanged or grooved end. Most generators are Glass Lined or Epoxy Lined for potable water applications up to 180°F & 160 PSI max. For higher temperatures or special applications NST offers 316L stainless steel tank or Duplex Stainless Steel construction. Heat exchangers are built with your choice of copper, stainless or copper nickel tubes. All tubesheets are 304 stainless steel unless requested otherwise.

Power Plate Water Heating System

Niles Steel Tank Power Plate Water Heating System is a performance driven water heating package that comes with your choice of water storage tanks up to 2,500 gallons. The unique Power Plate heat exchanger design provides high rates of heat transfer requiring less surface area than conventional shell and tube heat exchangers. Couple that performance with Ultonium lined or stainless steel alloy storage tanks for the ultimate heating domestic water delivery package. Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger are 316L Stainless Steel Construction.
