American Wheatley HVAC Products is a U.S. based manufacturer with more than 40 years of experience in providing a complete line of ASME bladder tanks, Air Separators, Strainers, Suction Diffusers and Triple Duty Valves.


To ensure the highest standards of quality American Wheatley HVAC Products have A.S.M.E. "U", “UM”, and “S” Certificates of Authorization, as well as the National Board Certifications Of Authorization (R Stamp). The “U”, “UM”, and “S” stamp certification focuses on the manufacture of high-pressure components, allowing American Wheatley to certify that they have followed a stringent and traceable history of all components and manufacturing processes. The “R” stamp, National Board Certificate of Authorization, covers their manufacturing facility in accordance with National Board Inspection Code 23, which encompasses the rules and guidelines for inspection, repair, and alterations of pressure vessels.

Bladder Expansion Tanks

American Wheatley Bladder Expansion Tanks are ASME constructed and stamped National Board Registered. BDT & WFA series Expansion Tanks offered are Full Acceptance type with Replaceable Heavy Duty Butyl Rubber and EPDM Bladders. Capacities range from 6 gallon through 15,000 gallon. Tanks are ASME rated for 125 & 150 PSI as standard. BDT series features Stainless-Steel system connection making them ideal for use with potable water. 

Air Separators

American Wheatley Tangential Air Separator line is constructed of Carbon Steel in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division I, Latest Edition. The Tangential Air Separators are offered with an optional removable strainer to help remove particulates from your system. Pipe connection sizes ranging from 2” – 30” and larger.

Air & Dirt Separators

American Wheatley HVAD High Velocity and STAD Standard Velocity Coalescing Air & Dirt Separator is intended for use on commercial HVAC, institutional, and industrial applications to remove entrained air and particulate from system water. Accomplished with the use of a High-Performance Stainless Steel saddle ring coalescing assembly internal to the separator. Available with or without removable cover, 2″ through 16″ and larger. Particulate removal to 35 micron, ASME rated 150PSI WP 2″-12″, 125PSI WP14″-16″ with higher pressures available. Constructed in accordance with Section VIII of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

Suction Diffusers

American Wheatley Suction Diffusers are designed to reduce space and installation costs by replacing a long radius elbow, strainer, and extended entry pipe on the suction side of the pump.


Suction Diffusers are equipped with Stainless Steel Strainer, Flanged inlet and outlet connections, Ductile Iron Body, Integral stabilizing vanes, rated for 175 psi. Direct mounting in a horizontal or vertical position. Standard sizes are from 2" to 12", Fabricated to 36". 

Triple Duty Valves

American Wheatley TDV series is a combination pump discharge valve functioning as a shut-off, check, and calibrated flow balancer. Available in sizes 1-1/2” through 12” with cast iron body. Threaded or flanged ends. 


Standard TDV are equipped with Schrader valve metering connections, Memory stop, Plug position indicator and calibrated scale, Spring-loaded clapper, installed in either the horizontal or vertical position.
